Maharashtra Elections: After Murder and Multiple Crimes, Bishnoi Set to Make Entry in Maharashtra Elections?
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, currently incarcerated in Ahmedabad's Sabarmati Central Jail, has received an offer to contest the Maharashtra Assembly elections from a political party called the North Indian Development Army (UBVS). This party is registered with both the Election Commission of India and the Maharashtra State Election Commission. The party's national president, Sunil Shukla, has formally written to Bishnoi, inviting him to run in the elections. Shukla mentioned that four candidates from the UBVS have already been finalized for the Mumbai elections.
