Rajasthan: Ajay Maken replaces Avinash Pandey as Congress General Secretary in-charge

Within two days of winning the trust vote in Rajasthan, the Congress high command removed Avinash Pandey, assuming a great demand for Sachin Pilot. In place of him, Ajay Maken, former Union Minister and trusted confidant of Rahul Gandhi, has been given the charge of Rajasthan. After a gap of about five years, Ajay Maken has returned as the Congress' central officer.
