Punjab Elections: ED arrests Channi's nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey | Matrabhumi

Bhupendra Singh Honey, the nephew of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, has been detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an illegal sand-mining case. Honey was arrested late Thursday night under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The arrest comes only days before the 117-member Punjab legislative assembly polls.
