Punjab CM accepts scam in selling seeds to farmers
Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has conceded that during the season of paddy crop, fake seeds were sold to the farmers. Punjab Agriculture University had produced a total 3000 quintal seeds of two categories. However, distributors ended up selling over 30,000 quintals of seeds which led to the exposure of scam. A key aide of Punjab cabinet minister was also arrested on Thursday.
