The Congress President made these comments while holding a joint press conference with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in the UP capital. Claiming to form the India Alliance government, Mallikarjun Kharge said, "Four phases of elections have been completed. India Alliance is in a strong position. The public has decided to bid farewell to PM Modi. Looking at the atmosphere of the entire country, we can say that "India alliance is forming a new government on June 4."
