Private mobile companies are performing as per their will: AAP's Sanjay Singh
In the wake of the increased tariff rates by the three telecom operators in the country, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh while speaking to ABP News, hit out at the Centre saying that the government has ended the competition between mobile companies and has given monopoly to private sector to moderate the tariff rates as per their will. This has only increased the burden on the common man who is already reeling under the pressure of increased onion prices, Singh said.
The tariff hike by the three telecom operators - Vodafone Idea Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd, and Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd - is the first of its kind in more than a decade after years of competition ensured prices of calls and data services hit rock bottom.
