Politics Escalates Over BJP MP Nishikant Dubey's Demand For Union Territory | ABP News

JDU has strongly opposed BJP MP Nishikant Dubey’s recent statement advocating for the creation of new union territories from several districts in some states. JDU National Secretary Rajiv Ranjan, reacting on July 27, described Dubey's proposal as impractical, childish, and ignorant. Ranjan criticized Dubey for disregarding state reorganization and constitutional provisions, suggesting that while such statements may grab headlines, they are not taken seriously. He argued that these remarks contribute nothing constructive to the political discourse and should be dismissed. According to Ranjan, there is no viable alternative to rejecting such statements, which are seen as merely tension-raising without substantive value.
