PM Modi Celebrates Diwali with Soldiers in Kutch, Shares Sweets Dressed in Army Uniform

Diwali celebrations are in full swing across the country, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi marking the festival with soldiers in Gujarat's Kutch region. Wearing an army uniform, he shared sweets with the troops to express his appreciation for their service. Earlier in the day, PM Modi paid tribute to India’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his birth anniversary. He addressed a gathering near the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Narmada district, honoring Patel's legacy. Extending Diwali wishes to the nation, PM Modi tweeted, "Many Diwali wishes to the people of the country. On this divine festival of lights, I pray for everyone’s health, happiness, and prosperity. May Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha bless all." In his address at Ekta Nagar, PM Modi spoke on the challenges India faces as it grows stronger. He noted that both internal and external forces are attempting to destabilize the nation and harm India’s economic interests by projecting a negative image to deter foreign investors. The Prime Minister urged citizens to recognize the threat of "urban Naxals" who he claimed are working to weaken the country as traditional Naxalism declines in the forests. He called for unity and vigilance against these forces, stressing the need to identify those who aim to disrupt the nation.
