Pegasus spyware issue: Ashwini Vaishnaw denies all claims, calls it 'planned move' | Matrabhumi (19 July 2021)
Amid reports that phones of journalists, politicians, activists being hacked through Pegasus spyware, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav made a big statement in the parliament during the monsoon session. He said, 'our laws and strong institutions are subject to checks and balances. With this, any kind of illegal surveillance is not possible'.
