No relief to Navjot Singh Sidhu; lawyer citied health issues | ABP News
After being sentenced to one year in prison by the Supreme Court in the 1988 road rage case, ex-Punjab Congress chairman Navjot Singh Sidhu has requested more time to surrender on medical reasons. Navjot Singh Sidhu's appeal was dismissed by the Supreme Court. Navjot Singh Sidhu was set to surrender before a Patiala court today, but he requested more time to serve his sentence in a 1988 road rage case, citing his health. In response, the court requested that he bring the matter to the attention of India's Chief Justice.
