No action against companies not paying full salary during lockdown: SC
A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today on the matter of giving 54 days full salary to the employees during the lockdown. The Supreme Court today pronounced its verdict in the matter, stating that the employee and employer (company) should settle the matter by mutual agreement. The Supreme Court gave its ruling on a number of petitions filed by several companies, including MSMEs, challenging the Home Ministry's order to pay full salaries and pay to employees during the 54-day period of lockdown.
