NITI Aayog Meeting: Mamata Banerjee Questions The Institute Ahead Of Policy Commission Session | ABP News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 9th meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council on Saturday. This council includes all state chief ministers, lieutenant governors of Union Territories, and several Union ministers. Before heading towards the Meeting TMC Leader and West Bengal Chief Minister questioned the Institution. Despite the significance of the meeting, several opposition-ruled state chief ministers have announced a boycott, citing alleged budgetary discrimination. The boycotting leaders include Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, and the Aam Aadmi Party-led governments of Punjab and Delhi. Additionally, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy have also chosen not to attend.
