Members of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) were detained today while protesting near Parliament over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak case. Congress workers faced off with police and broke through barricades before being detained. The Indian Youth Congress members had gathered in Delhi, declaring a "Parliament gherao" and pledging to continue their march. Allegations of paper leaks and irregularities have caused significant unrest among students and parents. "Thousands of IYC workers have taken to the streets of Delhi today, becoming the voice of students suffering from the atrocities of the paper leak," IYC chief BV Srinivas said in a post on X.
