NEET Controversy: Supreme Court Resumes Hearing On NEET UG Re-Test Plea | ABP News
The Supreme Court is set to resume hearing today on petitions alleging paper leaks, malpractices, and other irregularities in the conduct of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG). Last week, the Chief Justice DY Chandrachud-led bench postponed the hearing as some parties had not received affidavits from the Centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA). The court emphasized the need for thorough consideration of these responses before proceeding with arguments.
The NEET matters are listed as items 5-9 on the Supreme Court's cause list, with the bench scheduled to convene at 10:30 am. The proceedings are expected to take place in the first half of the session.
In its affidavit, the Centre refuted allegations of widespread malpractices during the NEET-UG 2024 exam.
