NEET Controversy: Supreme Court Likely To Give Its Verdict Today Regarding Re-Exam | ABP News

A bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud will hear petitions related to the controversial NEET-UG 2024 medical entrance exam on Thursday. The pleas allege irregularities and malpractices during the May 5 test and seek a fresh examination. The Supreme Court had earlier stated that the integrity of NEET-UG 2024 had been compromised. In response, the Centre submitted an additional affidavit on Wednesday, stating that the Ministry of Education has requested IIT Madras to conduct a comprehensive data analysis of the NEET-UG 2024 results, as directed by the Supreme Court. The government citing an IIT Madras study said there was neither any indication of mass malpractice nor a localized set of candidates being benefitted leading to abnormal scores.
