Need for new parliament building always felt for largest democracy: Om Birla

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new Parliament building. The size of the Lok Sabha in the new Parliament House will be three times the existing one. The new parliament building will also be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Om Birla said that the need for new parliament was always felt as the responsibilities were increasing day by day.
