NCPCR sends notice to DM & SSP of Muzzafarnagar; Orders to review school's management | Abp News

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has sought strict actions against the school teacher in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, who made students slap a Muslim kid inside the classroom. A video of the incident which took place in Khabbarpur village went viral on social media and the police have begun a probe. The NCPCR has directed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Muzaffarnagar to initiate an inquiry and lodge an FIR against the private school teacher. The SSP has also been instructed to submit an action taken report within a week. The child rights body has also demanded security and counselling for the child victim.
