Nation to bid former President Pranab Mukherjee adieu today

Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee took his last breath on Monday at the age of 84. He was diganosed with Coronavirus few days ago and underwent a brain surgery too. He had been in coma since the brain surgery. Yesterday, his demise news made one and all emotional. Today the funeral will take place and he will be bid adieu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the demise of the former President and said " India grieves the passing away of Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee. He has left an indelible mark on the development trajectory of our nation. A scholar par excellence, a towering statesman, he was admired across the political spectrum and by all sections of society."
