Mumbai: Office timings to be changed to control rush in locals
Mumbai local is the lifeline of the financial capital of the country. However, a large number of people travel on it and hence, it is also likely that the local becomes a moving carrier of Covid-19. So, to ensure that the crowd at the stations and local trains are under check, BMC is planning to work on the shift timing of private, semi-private and government offices. As per the new plan, the start of shifts in the offices will not be kept same to ensure that people arrive to catch a local at different times.
