Mumbai drowns in Nisarga, Bhiwandi can't get drinking water | Ghanti Bajao
Mumbai is called the financial capital of the country. The city witnessed torrential rainfall over the past few days due to cyclone Nisarga. However, a mere 50 km away, is a small suburb of Bhiwandi. Locals here are unable to manage enough drinking water for themselves. The corruption in the system has ensured that they don't get their share of potable water. Locals are forced to manually dig the ground to get some water. Watch this report.
