MP: Women construct canal & dam in 18 months to resolve water crisis
In Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur women constructed a dam in 18 months to resolve the water crisis. In Angarotha village of Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh, more than 400 women constructed a canal, to conserve rainwater that will help the village immensely. River Bhedi has also got a new life.
The village had been facing water scarcity in the past and these women stepped up to bring an important change.
