MP: 5 lakh quintal wheat grain damaged in rain

In Madhya Pradesh, five lakh quintals of wheat grain was damaged due to heavy rainfall. The grains were kept in a godown in Madhya Pradesh's Katni which were not stored properly and hence got drenched in rain. These wheat grains were a part of the food to be distributed among people living in flood-affected areas.

As per officials, wheat grains were kept in the godown since December and were not taken care of properly.
