Modi govt reduces onion stock holding limit for retailers, wholesalers
Onion price rise has made Indians cry. The vegetable is being sold at Rs 100 per kg in many states. At few places the price has touched Rs 130 per kg. This is why, the Narendra Modi government has reduced the stock holding limit of onions for retailers. The wholesalers can keep onions up to 25 tonnes whereas retailers can keep only 5 tonnes
