Mayawati demands President's rule in Rajasthan 'to save democracy'
In a series of tweets, BSP chief Mayawati wrote, "Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, had earlier misused the anti-defection law and betrayed BSP for the second time in a row by getting the party MLAs included in Congress and now, by tapping phones, he has done another illegal and unconstitutional act. Hence, the Governor of Rajasthan should take cognizance of the ongoing political crisis, stability of the state government and recommend imposition of President's rule in the state to save democracy".
