Madhya Pradesh Home Ministry likely to take action today on Special DG

Senior IPS officer Purshottam Sharma has been summoned by the Women Commission in the capital of Madhya Pradesh, after allegations of beating his wife. 

At the same time, action can be taken today on DG Purushottam Sharma. The Home Ministry of Madhya Pradesh had asked for his response to the incident yesterday and had given him 24 hours to respond. The Home Department had also asked Sharma for clarification after the video of him beating his wife went viral on social media.
