Lok Sabha Polls: Low Voter Turnout Recorded In First 2 Hours, Himachal Tops List, Odisha Trails | ABP News
The voting in the first two hours of the seventh phase of Lok Sabha polls remained brisk with Himachal Pradesh leading and Odisha recording the lowest voter turnout. As per the data published by the Election Commission of India, a voter turnout of 11.31 per cent was recorded at 9 am for 57 look sabha seats across eight states and Union Territories.
The voting began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. Simultaneous voting for 42 Assembly constituencies in Odisha is also underway.
The states where voting is taking place include Bihar (8), Himachal Pradesh (4), Jharkhand (3), Odisha (6), Punjab (13), Uttar Pradesh (13), West Bengal (9), and one seat of Chandigarh.
