Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a poll rally in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur in East Singhbhum district on Sunday. During the rally, the PM said:"Congress is the root cause of corruption, Congress committed 2G and coal scam, they created a record in several scams." "Look at RJD, for jobs they took land from the poor, they snatched land from the poor and they promised jobs in return...JMM has the same instinct, habits... JMM has learnt the same thing from Congress and RJD," the prime minister said. "JMM committed land scam in Jharkhand, and these people...whose land did they snatch? they snatched land of the poor Adivasis, they even tried to snatch land of the Armed forces...they tried to snatch land of the forces, this habit is so bad that it is an example in itself," PM Modi said during the rally. Modi campaigned for BJP candidate Bidyut Baran Mahato, a two-time MP, at the public meeting. Elections to 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand is being held in four phases. Voting in the first round took place on May 13.
