Lok Sabha Election 2024: Polling Begins On 58 Seats Across 8 States & UTs | ABP News
Voting for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 begins. Polling is being held in 58 constituencies across 8 states and Union Territories (UTs) today.
11 percent of Lok Sabha seats are going for polls in the sixth phase. 889 candidates from 8 states and UTs will contest elections in Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. After the end of Phase 6, 89 percent of Lok Sabha elections would be over. By the end of Phase VI, elections would have been completed in 28 states and UTs. In the seventh phase, only 8 states and UTs are left.
Besides the national capital, polling will be held Saturday in 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, all 10 seats of Haryana, eight seats each in Bihar and West Bengal, six seats in Odisha, four seats in Jharkhand and one seat in Jammu and Kashmir. Simultaneously, polling will be held for 42 assembly constituencies in Odisha.
