BJP MP and candidate from Patna Sahib constituency, Ravi Shankar Prasad, along with his wife Maya Shankar, cast their votes at a polling booth in Patna. Congress's Anshul Avijit is the key contender from this seat against Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Patna Sahib Constituency of Bihar was won by Ravi Shankar Prasad in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from the BJP party. Shatrughan Sinha was the runner-up from Patna Sahib, who lost by 284,657 votes and belonged to the INC. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Ravi Shankar Prasad received 607,506 votes and won by a margin of 284,657 votes.
The 7th phase of polling of LS Elections includes Varanasi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting for a third consecutive term. Polling will be conducted in all 13 seats of Punjab, four seats in Himachal Pradesh, 13 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, nine in West Bengal, eight in Bihar, six in Odisha, and three seats in Jharkhand, alongside Chandigarh.
