Kota infant deaths: Several parents complain of getting no beds for their kids
The administration is now trying to improve the situation at J K Lon government hospital in Kota where infants have died due to poor management system. "We got no bed when we had admitted our kids in hospital," said several parents who came to get their children cured.
Taking cognizance of media reports about the death of more than 100 children at a government-run hospital in December last year, the NHRC has issued notice to the state government. The notice, issued to the Rajasthan Chief Secretary, has asked the state government to submit a detailed report within four weeks in the matter, including the steps being taken to address the issue.
