Kolkata Doctor Case: Doctors' strike continues across the country from Kolkata to Jaipur
TABP News: The Calcutta High Court has taken a strict stance on the Kolkata 'Nirbhaya' case. The court has ordered the police to submit the case diary by 1 PM, emphasizing the need to understand the sentiments of the protesting doctors. The High Court acknowledged the emotional distress within the medical community, stating, "One of their colleagues has been brutally murdered." This development comes amid growing calls for a CBI probe and ongoing protests by resident doctors demanding justice for the victim, a trainee doctor at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital.
The court also admitted a petition from the victim's family for a court-monitored investigation due to doubts about the ongoing probe. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has pledged to transfer the case to the CBI if significant progress isn't made by Sunday
