Kolkata Doctor Case: BJP Activists Reach Shyam Bazaar, Attempt to Shut Down Metro Station | ABP News

During the bandh in Bengal, BJP activists continue their protest. They reached Shyam Bazaar Metro Station and attempted to shut it down. The police are actively removing the protesters from the station. In protest against the lathi charge on students, the BJP has called for a 12-hour bandh in Bengal today, which will last until 6 PM. Yesterday, the Kolkata police used lathi charges, tear gas, and water cannons to disperse the crowd heading towards Nabanna. The protesters were demonstrating against the rape and murder of a female doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, and were demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The protests highlight growing frustration over the state's handling of the case and calls for justice for the victim. Stay tuned for the latest updates only on ABP News.
