Hathras Stampede: After the Hathras accident in Uttar Pradesh, the police is continuously taking action. Hathras Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal told in a press conference that UP Police has arrested Dev Prakash Madhukar with a reward of Rs 1 lakh. He has been arrested from Najafgarh, Delhi and brought to Hathras and further investigation is going on. Opposition parties are continuously questioning the Yogi government regarding this accident and in the same sequence, Samajwadi Party MP from Ayodhya, Awadhesh Prasad has also cornered the Yogi government. On the incident of stampede in Hathras, Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad said, "The incident in Hathras is very sad. There is no need for politics in this matter, the government is responsible. When it was known that the program was to be held at that place, There should have been adequate arrangements for this. If the crowd had increased then the government should have been responsible for this incident. The compensation they have announced is like cumin in the camel's mouth." Till now, UP Police has arrested a total of 9 people in this case. The police had first arrested six people in connection with the stampede who were members of the satsang organizing committee. According to the FIR regarding this incident, more than 2.50 lakh people had participated in this program, whereas the administration had given permission to only 80 thousand people. There was a stampede at the event when many devotees ran to collect the soil from Baba's feet, as they believed that it could cure all the diseases in his house.
