Jodhpur Conflicts: BJP's Gajendra Shekhawat blames CM Gehlot | Matrabhumi (3 May 2022)

Fresh skirmishes erupted between the two communities in Jalori Gate area of the city after Monday's incident of violence in Rajasthan's Jodhpur, forcing the police to resort to lathi-charge, according to news agency ANI. People shouted slogans and threw stones at each other in new conflicts that occurred today over a religious flag controversy. In light of the scenario, the district administration has enforced a curfew in many districts of the city till Wednesday midnight, according to PTI news agency. Udai Mandir, Pratap Nagar, Nagori Gate, Khanda Phalsa, Soor Sagar, Dev Nagar, and Sardarpura are among the places where a curfew has been imposed.
