Hemant Soren Government Floor Test: Hemant Soren, who took power as the 13th Chief Minister of the state, will win the trust vote in the Assembly on Monday (July 8). A meeting of the ruling and opposition MLAs was held on Sunday evening to decide the strategy of the India Block and NDA MLAs during the trust vote in the special session of the Assembly. JMM, Congress and RJD MLAs expressed confidence in winning the trust vote. At the same time, the opposition party NDA said that it will not be easy for the ruling coalition. Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav said that the floor test and cabinet expansion were discussed during the meeting. The Hemant Soren cabinet is set to be expanded after the trust vote. Pradeep Yadav, who joined the Congress after winning the 2019 assembly elections on a JVM-P ticket, claimed that he has enough numbers in the House to win the trust vote. While JMM MLA Stephen Marandi said that the party has directed all coalition MLAs to be present in the House and participate in the floor test.
