As the election date in Jammu and Kashmir draws near, political tensions are rising. Following Congress, the BJP is also gearing up to deploy its top leaders for election campaigning. Senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, September 6, 2024. On the first day of his visit, Shah will release the BJP's manifesto in Jammu and then hold meetings with RSS and BJP leaders. His visit is seen as crucial, given the internal strife within the party over ticket distribution, with several prominent leaders leaving and protests erupting in various assembly areas. It is expected that Shah will use this visit to address these issues and attempt to reconcile with local leaders. The BJP recently released a list of 40 star campaigners for Jammu and Kashmir, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and other prominent leaders. Shah's visit will also include an election rally in Jammu on Saturday.
