Jammu Kashmir: Army Convoy Hit by Grenade, Terrorists Open Fire; 5 Soldiers Martyred | ABP News
In a remote area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, terrorists ambushed an army convoy in the Machedi region. The attack, which occurred on Monday, resulted in the tragic death of five army personnel, with six others sustaining injuries. The ambush involved the hurling of a grenade and gunfire aimed at Army vehicles during a routine patrol on the Machedi-Kindli-Malhar road near Badnota village in Lohai Malhar, approximately 150 km from Kathua town.
Security forces responded swiftly, engaging in intermittent exchanges of fire as the terrorists sought refuge in nearby forests. Reinforcements have been deployed to the area to support ongoing operations.
