Hours after confrontations broke out between two communities during a Hanuman Jayanti procession on Saturday, the situation in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri remained tense but under control, with significant police deployment. There have been reports of stone-pelting and vehicle fires. According to the latest reports, the confrontations injured around eight police officers and one civilian. The Delhi Police stated they had made 23 arrests so far. Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Uttarakhand have all reported stone-pelting and confrontations.
