The T20 World Cup 2024 victors arrived back in Delhi early on Thursday morning, and the ITC Maurya Hotel in Chanakyapuri wasted no time in giving them a hearty welcome. In the midst of the festivities, the Rohit Sharma-led team was met with a specially made cake that represented their victorious comeback as the Men in Blue won an ICC World Cup for the first time in thirteen years. The cake was decked out in the vivid colors of the Team India jersey, and on top of it all was a meticulously crafted chocolate replica of the coveted T20 World Cup trophy. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, came to India from Barbados. India won the title by defeating South Africa in the final match of the tournament. After winning the final, Team India was stuck in Barbados.
