Indian Cricket Team Not To Tour Pak For 2025 ICC Champions Trophy | ABP News

The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, is unlikely to travel to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pushing for the matches to be relocated to either Sri Lanka or Dubai. Sources have informed ABP News that several Indian team players are also hesitant to play in Pakistan for the upcoming ICC event.

Government sources told ABP News that Pakistan's decision to downgrade diplomatic relations with India since 2019, including the expulsion of the Indian High Commissioner, makes the prospect of the Indian team visiting highly improbable. Additionally, Pakistan's position on counterterrorism suggests that the environment is not conducive to such sports engagements, making a trip to Pakistan seem unlikely.
