India Floods: This Warning from the Meteorological Department is Concerning | Weather Updates Today

Rain in India: Several states in India are experiencing severe distress due to a shift from extreme heat to heavy rainfall. Over the past few days, heavy rain has affected various parts of the country, including Delhi, resulting in multiple fatalities. In Lonavala, Pune, five people, including a woman and four children, drowned near Bhushi Dam. Heavy rain on June 30 caused severe waterlogging in Ahmedabad and Surat, Gujarat. On June 28, heavy rain in Delhi led to waterlogging, raising the death toll to 11. The Meteorological Department predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from June 30 to July 4, 2024. Continuous rain has caused landslides, disrupting road connections in Arunachal Pradesh. The Border Roads Organization (BRO) is working to clear debris and restore connectivity.
