India-China tension: Major General-level talks going on to reduce tension in Depsang Plains

This is the first meeting between the two countries regarding the ongoing de-escalation for the last three months, in the DBO sector of East Ladakh on Saturday.  

This meeting on Saturday is related to the deployment of heavy build-up, a large number of soldiers, tanks, heavy machinery and cannons in this area of both countries in Depsang-Plains. 

The Chinese delegation is headed by a Major-General rank officer of the PLA Army.
