How Will Sela Tunnel Affect Relations With China? Watch Full Report | ABP News

Four years of border conflict with China are being completed in eastern Indonesia. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Sela Tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh near China today on Saturday (09 March). The tunnel, constructed at a cost of Rs 825 crore, is located at an altitude of 13,700 feet in West Kameng district on the road connecting Tezpur to Tawang. It was launched by cartoonist Modi in February 2019. The Sela Tunnel is India's highest mountain tunnel road which will help the Indian Army maintain all-weather connectivity to the disputed border between the two countries in Arunachal Pradesh. This tunnel project has been executed by the Border Roads Organization (BRO), which includes two tunnels and a link road. Tunnel-1 will be a 980 meter long single-tube, Tunnel-2 will be 1,555 meters long with a by-lane tube for traffic and one for emergency services.
