Following the incident, the local police station in Sundernagar dispatched a team to assess the situation. The rockfall has been captured in a viral video circulating on social media, which highlights the narrow escape of the petrol pump employees. Had they not evacuated in time, the situation could have led to a major disaster. Nanak Chand, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sundernagar, confirmed that while the team has reviewed the scene and the damage caused, there have been no reported injuries.
