Himachal Pradesh News: Terrifying Landslide in Mandi, Rockfall Hits Petrol Pump | ABP News

In Sundernagar, located in the Mandi district, a significant rockfall occurred behind a petrol pump on the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane highway, near the Chhamukha area. The landslide resulted in damage to the petrol pump, but fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported. Following the incident, the local police station in Sundernagar dispatched a team to assess the situation. The rockfall has been captured in a viral video circulating on social media, which highlights the narrow escape of the petrol pump employees. Had they not evacuated in time, the situation could have led to a major disaster. Nanak Chand, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sundernagar, confirmed that while the team has reviewed the scene and the damage caused, there have been no reported injuries. The authorities are expected to continue monitoring the area to prevent further incidents and ensure the safety of local residents.
