Hathras Stampede: SIT Report Exonerates Baba Surajpal, Holds Organizers Responsible | ABP News
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to investigate the Hathras stampede has failed to mention Narayan Sakar Hari in its entire report. The report attributes the responsibility of the accident to the event organizer and local administration. The two-member probe committee submitted its report, stating that conspiracy cannot be ruled out and requires a thorough investigation. The report concludes that the Hathras accident occurred due to the negligence of the organizers, who failed to make adequate arrangements despite inviting a large crowd. Furthermore, the local police and administration officials did not take the event seriously, and senior officials were not properly informed.
