Haryana Assembly Elections: BJP Finalizes Candidates for 55 Seats, Will Discuss 35 More Today

The BJP's Central Election Committee is scheduled to hold another crucial meeting today to finalize candidates for Haryana's upcoming elections. According to sources, the discussion will cover all 90 assembly seats in the state. The committee has reportedly already decided on candidates for approximately 55 of these seats. The remaining candidates are expected to be finalized in today's meeting. Sources indicate that the BJP may release its first list of candidates on Saturday. In key developments, Anil Vij is likely to contest from Ambala Cantt, and Aarti Rao, daughter of Rao Inderjit Singh, is a probable candidate for the Ateli seat. Additionally, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is anticipated to be the BJP's candidate from Ladwa. The selection process is also considering tickets for two prominent athletes, reflecting the party's strategy to include diverse representation in its lineup. The decisions made in today’s meeting are expected to play a significant role in shaping the BJP’s electoral prospects in Haryana.
