Fuel price hike for 18th consecutive day, diesel surpasses petrol in Delhi

For the first time ever, price of diesel has become more expensive than the price of petrol in Delhi. On Wednesday, while petrol will be charged at Rs 79.80 per litre, cost of diesel will be at Rs 79.92 per litre. On Wednesday, while cost of petrol remained unchaged, dieself prices were increased by 48 paise. The cost of diesel and petrol have both seen steep surge in the month of June after no changes were seen for the month of April and May.
