Former CJI Ranjan Gogoi reaches Parliament
Former Supreme Court Justice Ranjan Gagoi nominated by President Ram Nath Kovind will be sworn in as a Rajya Sabha member today. Gogoi has reached Parliament House. There has been a dispute since he was nominated by the President. The Congress has criticised the government over Justice (rtd) Gogoi's nomination to the House of Elders. The President nominated him to the Rajya Sabha on Monday after almost 4 months of retirement from the apex court.
