Five Security Personnel Including An Army Officer Martyred In Encounter In Doda | ABP News

Jammu Kashmir: Five security personnel, including an army officer, have been martyred in an encounter with terrorists in a forest area of ​​​​Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials gave this information on Tuesday (July 16, 2024). Officials said that the soldiers of the National Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police started a joint cordon and search operation at Dhari Gote Urbagi in Desa forest area at around 7:45 pm, after which the encounter started. He said that four army personnel including an officer and a policeman were injured in the firing that lasted for more than 20 minutes. Officials said that the injured were taken to the hospital where their condition remained critical and now four of them have died.
