Favipiravir drug trial approved against Covid-19, confirms CSIR

A drug/medicine named Favipiravir has been given approval for trials to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). According to the CSIR, the trial will start in a week. If this gets successful, it will help in treating coronavirus in India. The Drug Controller General has given permission for it.  
Japan has authorized the antiviral drug remdesivir to treat coronavirus patients. Watch the report to know more.
